Just wanted to let you folks know that Macabre Ink Digital Publishing has released several digital collections of my short fiction during the past couple of weeks.

You can learn more about the first four releases -- CUMBERLAND FURNACE & OTHER FEAR-FORGED FABLES, FLESH WELDER, THE SICK STUFF, and Volume 1 of DARK DIXIE: TALES OF SOUTHERN HORROR -- on the home page or at my blog at http://ronaldkelly.blogspot.com.

I'm really excited about this new venture into the world of digital publishing. Now folks can get a little taste of Southern-fried horror on their Kindles and home computer screens.

I am really glad that these have become more available at decent prices for those that really want to read them…even if it is digital.

I just spent a wonderful evening reading the tales in CUMBERLAND FURNACE. Loved them all. My favorites would be "The Thing at the Side of the Road," "The Final Feature," and "The Peddler's Journey." "Tanglewood" should count as well, but I'd already read it when it originally came out.

I loved them all for different reasons. Some were just nasty, in a good way, some were damn funny and one was kind of quirky and strangely inspiring.

Thanks, Ron. I had a great time with these stories!

Thanks for the kind words, Mark. I'm glad you enjoyed CUMBERLAND FURNACE. By the way, CF is Number Two on Horror Mall's digital bestseller list for February, while FLESH WELDER is Number Five. I'll have more digital story collections coming out in June or July.

I am looking forward to being able to read EVERY short story you've written... maybe it will happen before I am able to start Hell Hollow.
